I was particularly excited about this week's mission "Side Dish, Centre Stage". Being beet season, I chose to pair barbecued strip steak with grilled garden beets. The recipe was simple and amazingly tasty. Par boiled & peeled beets. Olive oil, salt & pepper. Grilled on an open fire. Fresh thyme added to taste. This week, thyme was literally on our side.
